Our Programs

The Center for Multicultural Programs and Initiatives (CMPI) works with and through

local, state, and national partners to engage, recruit, and retain minority participation

in programs, research, training, and advocacy efforts to eliminate health disparities.

Minority Health Initiative

In 1994, the Indiana Minority Health Coalition (IMHC) established a department of programs to provide customized technical assistance for our statewide coalition network. 

Maternal and Child Health

IMHC’s Maternal and Child Health aims to improve the health of mothers, children, and their families. Specific areas include the Black Maternal Health ECHO and the Community Doula Services.

Public Policy & Engagement

The Indiana Minority Health Coalition (IMHC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Indiana’s racial and ethnic communities.

Healthy Lifestyles

Latino Affairs

IMHC’s Latino Affairs addresses Latino health issues, builds partnerships,

Racial and Ethnic Minority Epidemiology (REME) Center

IMHC’s REME Center serves as a centralized source for the collection and dissemination of information that will influence policy and provide directions for the enhancement of health activities focusing on Indiana’s racial and ethnic minority populations.
